Durga Puja, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, is a celebration that brings together culture, art, tradition, devotion, and the spirit of community.

Since 2014, Prayas Columbus has proudly carried this timeless heritage to Columbus, Ohio, keeping the traditions alive while creating a place where generations come together.

For 15 years, Prayas has been more than a celebration. It has been a bridge connecting generations, cultures, families, friends, and the broader Asian community—bringing people of all ages together through music, dance, food, art, traditions, and shared experiences.

From the little ones experiencing Durga Puja for the first time to our elders who carry the memories and traditions of generations past, Prayas continues to preserve our heritage while creating new memories for the future.

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we invite everyone to join us in honoring the past, celebrating the present, and carrying our heritage forward for generations to come.
